Vacuum filtration dries oil very well, but large amounts of free water slow it down. TOFM builds an oil-water centrifuge into the filtration plant, so wet oil is pre-treated and then vacuum-dehydrated in one system. It is a configuration few oil filtration manufacturers offer.
