Engineered industrial equipment for transformer, power, electrical & process applications. TOFM, short for Transformer Oil Filtration Machine, designs and manufactures oil filtration, storage, separation and vacuum drying equipment in India for customers at home and abroad.
TOFM Vacuum Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Indian engineering and manufacturing company that specialises in transformer oil filtration machines. Its name stands for Transformer Oil Filtration Machine. It has works in Pune and West Bengal and supplies India and 13 export markets.
Who we are
TOFM is an ISO 9001:2015 certified engineering and manufacturing company, not a trader. We design, fabricate, assemble and test our equipment ourselves, and we support it after installation with service and spare parts.
Our core product is the transformer oil filtration machine, built from 500 LPH to 20,000 LPH. Around it we build the equipment that oil handling needs: hydraulic and lube oil filtration machines, an oil-water centrifugal separator integrated with our filtration plant, custom fabricated storage tanks up to 40,000 litres, hydro cyclone and air-solid cyclone separators, vacuum drying plants and drying ovens.
What makes TOFM different
Most oil filtration manufacturers compete on capacity and price. We focus on how well the oil is cleaned, on automation, and on what happens after delivery. Our transformer oil filtration plant can include an integrated oil-water centrifuge, a configuration engineered in-house that few manufacturers offer.
Our engineering leadership comes from industrial automation and special-purpose machine building, so PLC / HMI control, interlocks and monitoring are part of how we design equipment.

Our primary industries are heavy electrical work, for government and private customers, and oil and gas. That includes power utilities, substations, transformer manufacturers and repairers, EPC and electrical contractors, renewable energy and hydro-electric power plants, refineries and process plants.

Parthasarathi Das
Founder, TOFM Vacuum Equipment Title TBC
Parthasarathi Das brings more than two decades of experience in special-purpose machines, industrial automation, energy monitoring and control systems, and product development. His engineering work includes the design and manufacture of transformer oil filter machines and drying ovens.
He holds a Master's degree in Electronics from Fergusson College, Pune, and has published research on materials and plasma processes.
